Our view
The Blue Tees Rainmaker looks compelling on paper. Twenty-plus metrics including attack angle and club path, E6 and GSPro compatibility, a 4.3-inch display, IPX4 waterproofing, and a detachable magnetic remote — all at £599.99 with a free year of the GAME AI app included. If it delivers on those specifications, it would sit comfortably alongside the Voice Caddie SC4 Pro and Garmin R10 as the most complete offering at this price.
We cannot tell you whether it delivers on those specifications because the Rainmaker has not shipped yet. It is on pre-order only at the time of writing.
The honest position for any golfer considering it: the specifications are genuinely interesting, but pre-order launch monitors from newer brands carry real risk. Delivery timelines can slip. Real-world accuracy can differ from manufacturer specifications. App quality and simulator integration reliability are impossible to assess from a press release.
Blue Tees is an established brand in golf technology — they make GPS speakers and rangefinders with a reasonable track record — so this is not an unknown startup. But the Rainmaker is their first launch monitor, which means no track record in this specific product category.
Our recommendation: if you need a launch monitor now, buy one that you can hold and use today. The Shot Scope LM1, Voice Caddie SC4 Pro, and Garmin R10 are all available immediately and independently reviewed. If you are prepared to wait and the Rainmaker's specifications match your needs, add your email to the Blue Tees waitlist and revisit once independent reviews are published.
We will update this page when the Rainmaker ships and real-world assessments are available.
