The honest limitation is the Garmin Golf membership requirement for PlaysLike Distance and Green Contour Data — features that appear on the spec sheet but cost £89.99/year to unlock. If you want those features included without a subscription, look at the Shot Scope X5 which includes them at no ongoing cost. If you are happy with core GPS and AutoShot tracking and value the Garmin ecosystem, the S44 is one of the strongest GPS watch buys on the UK market.
